Application Process for Fellowships

- During the application period, follow the appropriate link to view the research proposals Bristol-Myers Squibb has identified
- To be considered the Fellow must complete the application and submit all required supplemental materials through the website
- Based on your research interest, please contact us with any questions regarding these programs at either immunoscience.fellows@bms.com, virology.fellows@bms.com or oncology.fellows@bms.com.
Before starting the submission process, please be sure to have the following information available.
- Contact information (valid e-mail address required)
- Curriculum vitae
- Letter of good standing
- This letter must come directly from the program administrator or program director indicating ACGME identification number, start date of fellowship, and fellowship completion date
- Letter of recommendation
- This letter should be provided by a mentor along with a biosketch/CV
- Concept summary/Letter of intent (LOI):
- Hypothesis/Rationale
- Objective/Endpoint
- Treatment
- Sample size
- Eligibility
- Statistical plan
- References
- Budget
How to apply:
- Select the therapeutic area and investigational product of interest, if applicable
- Review the research proposals to determine whether there is an interest in submitting an application/LOI
- Take note of the RFP number in front of the research proposal description (i.e. RFP-12-AB123-456). This number is required when completing the application.
- Click on the RFP number of interest to access the application
- Login to the application utilizing your e-mail address and password (create a new password if this is the first time accessing the application system)
- Complete the demographic fields on the application
- Upload the required documents. A LOI, CV, Good Standing Letter, and Letter of Recommendation are required. If you do not have your own LOI template, please utilize the template here.
- Please note that the Letter of Recommendation can be sent (if preferred) directly to immunoscience.fellows@bms.com, virology.fellows@bms.com or oncology.fellows@bms.com depending on what program you are interested in.
