Bristol-Myers Squibb Recognized as a Top Company for Executive Women
Bristol-Myers Squibb has been named a “Top 50 Company for Executive Women” by the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) – the 10th straight year NAFE recognized the company as a leader in recruiting, retaining and advancing women.
“The NAFE honor is a prestigious recognition of our company’s work to provide opportunities for women in key leadership roles – positions that help drive our company’s success,” says John Celentano, senior vice president, Human Resources, Public Affairs and Philanthropy. “As proud as we are of this honor, we continue our commitment to the professional development of all of our employees.”
Béatrice Cazala, executive vice president, Commercial Operations, and a member of the Senior Management Team accepted the award on behalf of the company at a special luncheon honoring the Top 50 Companies in March. She also participated in a breakfast roundtable of senior women leaders from the winning companies.
Bristol-Myers Squibb has a number of programs in place to help women advance and excel in their careers – from management and leadership training to mentoring programs. These and other topics were on the 2012 NAFE Top 50 Companies application of 250 questions.
”The NAFE Top 50 Companies are major employers that are committed to hiring, retaining and promoting executive women,” says Carol Evans, president of Working Mother Media and CEO, NAFE. “They represent a cross-section of companies that go way beyond lip service in helping women succeed.”
NAFE is a division of Working Mother Media. The Top 50 list and accompanying report is available on the Working Mother magazine website.
