John Elicker is senior vice president, Public Affairs and Investor Relations. In this role, he leads Bristol-Myers Squibb’s internal and external communications efforts globally, as well as its professional investment community interactions.

John joined Bristol-Myers Squibb in 2000 as senior director, Investor Relations. In 2002, he became vice president, Investor Relations, and the Company’s primary contact with the institutional investment community. In 2011, John added responsibility for Public Affairs. Under his leadership Bristol-Myers Squibb’s Investor Relations department has been named best in the pharmaceutical business by investors polled by Institutional Investor magazine.

“As we continue to execute our BioPharma strategy, we are making it a priority to build a differentiated capability in providing external stakeholders and employees with a well-rounded understanding of the company and its innovative portfolio,” says John.

Prior to joining Bristol-Myers Squibb, John held various leadership roles of increasing responsibility at W. W. Grainger, Inc., and at Scott Paper Company.

John received a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University and holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
