Dr. Glimcher, age 65, is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Richard and Susan Smith Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School as of October 1, 2016. She had previously served as the Advisor to the Interim Dean and Provost for Medical Affairs and Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Overseers of Weill Cornell Medical since June 1, 2016. She served as the Stephen and Suzanne Weiss Dean of Weill Cornell Medical College and the Cornell University Provost for Medical Affairs from 2012 to 2016. Dr. Glimcher was the Irene Heinz Given Professor of Immunology at the Harvard School of Public Health and Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School from 1990 to December 2011. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, a member of the National Academy of Sciences USA, and a member of the Institutes of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences. She is also a member and past President of the American Association of Immunologists. She was elected to the American Society of Clinical Investigation, the American Association of Physicians and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Dr. Glimcher is a Director of Waters Corporation.
