We are no longer accepting Independent Medical Education (IME) Proposals for activity dates in 2009. We are accepting proposals for 2010 IME activities.

Bristol-Myers Squibb supports medical education programs, scientific conferences, development of health care publications and other educational and scientific activities. Grants may be awarded for the funding of specific projects or activities, or a series of programs that occur over a specified period of time. Bristol-Myers Squibb does not make grants in support of non-scientific or non-educational programs.

Grants may also be available to for fellowships, scholarships, visiting professorships and non-monetary recognition scientific achievement awards. Eligible applicants include: hospitals, health care facilities, academic medical centers universities, educational institutions for graduate or post-graduate programs in health care-related fields, and professional societies. Requests must come from the organization and not from an individual student, physician, pharmacist or health care professional.
