MONTREAL MAYOR GÉRALD TREMBLAY JOINS BRISTOL-MYERS SQUIBB IN PRESENTING TREES TO LOCAL SAINT-LAURENT SCHOOLS

MONTREAL, CANADA – (May 28, 2009) – Bristol-Myers Squibb Canada (“BMS”) celebrated the opening of its new national head offices today with a unique green twist.

Montreal Mayor, Gérald Tremblay joined Dieter Weinand, President, Intercontinental, Bristol-Myers Squibb Company and Wayne Quigley, President and General Manager, Bristol-Myers Squibb Canada, in presenting trees to students from local primary schools as a symbol of the company's roots in the Borough of Saint-Laurent and its commitment to the community.

With the official opening of its new Technoparc offices, BMS begins a new chapter in its proud 57-year history in the vibrant Saint-Laurent business community. Many local dignitaries and business leaders were in attendance to celebrate the official opening and Bristol-Myers Squibb's commitment to bringing new vitality to the community where staff members work and live. The occasion was marked with a symbolic tree-planting ceremony at the new head office, a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a reception.
