The Associate Director, Worldwide Commercial Oncology, Tumor teams, will be an integral member of the Integrated Oncology organization, and will report to the Head of Worldwide Commercial for GI tumors, WW Oncology.
This individual will play an important role in assisting in the development of the overall commercial strategy for a set of prioritized tumors globally – with initial focus in GI tumors – in collaboration with key worldwide markets and key matrix team partners. Secondary focus will be flexible across tumors depending on business need.
Support WWC directors in developing overall global strategy for GI (gastric, HCC, CRC, and pancreatic) tumors
Collaborate with key markets to deliver on the global strategy, including co-creation and development of the strategy with clear connectivity to future life cycle opportunities and launch implementation
Work with other functions, large markets and EMAC/IC Lead to drive rapid implementation of the global strategy
Provide commercial input into development decisions and optimization of prescribing information.
Effectively analyze customer insights, brand performance, market trends, & competitive response to inform strategic plan.
Build and maintain excellent stakeholder networks and relationships internally and externally to develop key insights and advance our business. Place customers at the center in addressing needs and finding business solutions.
Foster team effectiveness and accomplishment of shared goals by sharing knowledge, experience and insights.
BS/BA or equivalent required; an MBA/PhD or other advanced degree preferred
Balance of commercial and scientific acumen with ability to influence key stakeholders across functions (depth of marketing, healthcare consulting, and oncology experience preferred)
Clear understanding and experience with the global pharmaceutical landscape, R&D, marketing, and commercial operations (US+international experience preferred)
Demonstrated ability and desire to work and succeed in a highly visible, high pressure, fast paced, and complex market
Demonstrated analytical skills, with regards to market research, competitive data collection analysis, financial analysis and crystallization of key business insights are needed
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectively and efficiently drive performance and tell a story for targeted audiences
