Responsibilities include: writing and curating news, feature, human interest and other types of pieces supporting business/company goals.  Packaging and posting on internal and external enterprise digital and social platforms; and assisting in curating related content, researching for special projects, etc.

Position Responsibilities

  • Writing, curating and assisting in packaging original content posted daily to company’s internal and external enterprise digital and social platforms.
  • Developing long-term story ideas that highlight the work the area does (i.e. R&D, Commercial, Company Reputation), the people who do the work, and the patients and others who benefit from that work;
  • Working with the Content Creation Editor to develop social posts supporting/promoting larger digital pieces, as well as the area at large and its people; and
  • Contributing a steady stream (5+ pieces weekly) of content published across the company’s enterprise platforms.

Position Required:

  • B.A. in English, Journalism or related area
  • Minimum of 5 years of corporate communications, agency or newspaper/trade magazine writing experience, including creation of social content
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Professional social media experience
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Understanding of digital/social content standards
  • Organized, accurate and accountable; passion for content creation
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Ideal Candidates Would Also Have: 

  • Pharma industry and/or scientific writing experience
  • Digital layout/design experience
  • U.S. military experience will be considered towards industry experience requirements
