Accounting Development Program
Bristol-Myers Squibb seeks new graduates with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting for our Accounting Development Program.
Accounting Development Program
The Accounting Development Program is designed to recruit top talented candidates for a career in Accounting. Program Associates are provided the opportunity to work three separate one-year rotations in the following Bristol-Myers Squibb Finance departments in the Central New Jersey area:
- Business Controls Function (BCF)
- Consolidations & Finance Reporting
- Global Supply & Manufacturing (GMS Finance)
- Internal Audit Services
- R&D Finance
- US Pharmaceuticals (USP) Finance
- Program Structure
Accounting Associates will participate in a three- to four-year rotational program with one-year assignments. Each candidate will report directly to the Program Director. During the program, Accounting Associates are expected to actively work towards completion of their CPA exam and ultimate receipt of their CPA license in the state of New Jersey, New York, or Pennsylvania. Upon successful completion of the program, qualified Accounting Associates will continue in a permanent role within the finance department that aligns with their area of expertise, interests, and career expirations.

Requirements
- A recent or soon to be received Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a strong GPA from an accredited institution
- Must possess the desire and motivation to become a CPA and have a specific plan to obtain their CPA license during their time as an Associate.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of data analytics
- Thorough understanding of U.S. GAAP and its application

Commercial Leadership Development Program (CLDP)
The MBA Commercial Leadership Development Program (CLDP) is a three-year development program designed to grow the future leaders of Bristol-Myers Squibb’s marketing and sales organizations. The program includes four nine-month rotations focused on providing an accelerated learning through foundational commercial assignments, while enabling each associate to make an immediate business impact. The program allows associates to explore various areas of commercial that include:
- U.S. Marketing
- Business Insights & Analytics
- Value, Access, and Payer
- International Marketing (overseas assignment)
- Worldwide Commercialization
- Sales

- Formal mentor assignments to provide coaching and guidance at the executive, functional, and peer levels

Requirements
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree during the current school year, scheduled to graduate in the Spring.
- Previous healthcare industry or marketing experience is preferred but not required.
- A minimum of 3 years of full time work experience.
- Desire and ability to relocate within and outside the United States.

Finance MBA Associate Development Program
The Finance MBA Associate Development Program has been in place for over 20 years, recruiting top MBA candidates for dynamic careers in Finance. The program allows the individual to explore various financial areas that include:

Program Structure
The Finance Associates program is two years with four six-month rotations. The broad exposure, early in one’s career, provides a unique learning environment and high visibility to senior management, as well as builds a strong alumni network within the company.

Requirements
- A Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree during the current school year, scheduled to graduate in winter or spring
- Preferred 4-6 years’ experience of strong intellectual, financial, and analytical skills with the demonstrated ability for quickly grasping new concepts
- Demonstrate proficient financial modeling skills, specifically in Excel
- Ability to quickly learn financial/accounting software including SAP

Global Product Development and Supply (GPS) Associates Program
The Global Product Development and Supply (GPS) Associates Program prepares individuals to become future leaders of the organization by providing in-depth exposure to specialty areas in both corporate and manufacturing settings.
Program Structure
The GPS Associates program is two and a half year program with four rotations ranging from six to nine months. Each Associate has the opportunity to pursue projects across the various GPS functions such as:
- Supply Chain
- Manufacturing Operations
- Manufacturing Science and Technology Quality
- Product Strategy
The first rotational assignment is typically located in one of our central New Jersey facilities with at least one year long rotational assignment in one of our manufacturing facilities. Upon completion of the program, qualified associates will continue in a role (landing role) based on business needs, interest, and areas of expertise.

Requirements
- MS/MBA/PhD with background in science or engineering. Degree preference includes Chemical, Biochemical, Mechanical, Pharmaceutical Engineering, MBA with Supply Chain concentration, or PhD in Chemistry/Biology.

The HRLDP is unique for it provides a well-defined structure with inbuilt flexibility based on business and individual interests and development needs. The program provides diverse, individualized, robust experiences through opportunities across HR, collaborating with or supporting various business groups across R&D, Commercial, and Manufacturing. Information Technology Rotational Development Program
The IT Rotational Development Program (IT RDP) places MBA graduates in a variety of exciting and strategic roles within Information Technology functions at Bristol-Myers Squibb. The organization is responsible for vital capabilities and services that drive better business outcomes for the employees, business unites, and ultimately the most important stakeholder – the patient. You would have the opportunity to rotate in:

Program Structure
The program is two years in duration and comprises three or more rotations and stretch assignments, giving you exposure to multiple functions. The program ensures you will gain valuable industry and functional experience, contribute meaningfully to teams through challenging assignments, learn about Bristol-Myers Squibb, and work with senior executives from across the company.

Program Structure
The R&D Program will provide associates the opportunity to gain functional training through in-depth exposure to a variety of roles and business teams across the R&D organization. The program is two years in length and consists of four six-month rotations, with specific assignments developed in collaboration between the employee and a number of participating groups across strategic and business operations functions in Bristol-Myers Squibb R&D.
