R&D Strategy and Planning
Sara is a Learning Practice Lead at Bristol-Myers Squibb where she is responsible for managing the R&D Symposium at BMS, a unique, internal event where more than 3,000 Bristol-Myers Squibb scientists and researchers come together for two days to discuss science and engage with colleagues.
In her role, Sara is also responsible for partnering with internal and external stakeholders to plan, design and deliver innovative learning strategies to support the development of scientific capabilities and business skills to drive business performance and accelerate the development of all R&D colleagues worldwide.
Sara holds a Masters Certificate in Instructional Systems Design from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Business Administration at the University of Connecticut. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Delaware in International Relations with Diplomacy Concentration, European Specialization.
Interests and Expertise
Growing up, Sara was a competitive synchronized figure skater. She believes this experience taught her how to work within teams to achieve aligned goals.
Outside of work, Sara enjoys spending time with her husband and family. She enjoys her family so much, that both Sara and her Mom work at BMS.
