Adam Lenkowsky, executive vice president and chief commercialization officer at Bristol Myers Squibb, leads the worldwide Commercial and Medical organizations and is responsible for driving growth across the company’s key franchises, including Oncology, Hematology, Cardiovascular, Immunology and Cell Therapy. His organization of more than 10,500 colleagues brings Bristol Myers Squibb’s transformative medicines to patients around the world.

Adam is passionate about cultivating a diverse and inclusive culture that prioritizes its people, performance, customers and, above all else, patients.

In his prior role, Adam was head of Major Markets, where he oversaw the commercialization business across 19 international markets, including Japan, Germany, U.K. and France. He also served as general manager, U.S. Commercialization, overseeing Cardiovascular, Immunology and Oncology Commercialization at Bristol Myers Squibb.

With more than 25 years in the biopharma industry, he is an experienced leader who has held numerous strategic and operational roles of increasing responsibility at Bristol Myers Squibb. Adam is a member of the Board of EFPIA (European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations).

Adam earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from the State University of New York at Albany.
