One differentiating aspect of our approach is that we are “modality-agnostic,” meaning we employ a wide variety of modalities to attack cancer cells from several different angles which gives us the flexibility to choose the best approach for a given target or tumor type. This is important because cancer cells have different ways to evade therapeutic activity and tackling the cancer cells from various angles increases the likelihood a treatment will have long-term benefit.
These two approaches have also contributed to our growing ability to harness the immune system to combat cancer. Our leadership in the field of immuno-oncology has unlocked new solutions for patients with difficult-to-treat cancers, making long-term survival a possibility for more patients.
