‘Because there is more to do’ Reports
Listening to people, patients, carers, patient groups and healthcare professionals in Belgium
The ‘Because there is more to do’ reports present the results of this public listening initiative of Bristol Myers Squibb.
In late 2020, we opened two surveys to ask people for their feedback on health issues, and how they see the role of pharma companies in supporting patients beyond the provision of medicines. A public survey invited everyone across eight European countries to participate. A ‘deeper dive’ survey asked patients, carers, patient groups and healthcare professionals in Belgium to share their opinions. Discover the findings in the ‘Because there is more to do’ reports.
We firmly believe we should always strive to do more to help patients, beyond the provision of medicines, and work in partnership across healthcare to enable this. Learn more about ‘Because there is more to do’.
Watch our employees' response to the feedback from patients, carers, patient groups, healthcare professionals and people in general, in a series of personal video clips.
On 30th September we hosted an online summit with leading experts across 8 European countries to explore and debate the #1 finding of our ‘Because there is more to do’ surveys: Patients’ need for mental and emotional support throughout their treatment journeys.
As a follow-up to the BMS Global Patient Week, we organized a meeting for Belgian patient associations on the importance of contact and exchange between the different actors in healthcare.
