Quality Improvement Initiative in CAR T

The BMS Quality Improvement Initiative in CAR T (QII-CAR T) supports hospitals and healthcare providers delivering CAR T therapies to lymphoma patients as they adapt to increasing CAR T utilization. The initiative advances projects that improve efficiency across the continuum of care.

Supported projects should drive system‑level improvements that enhance care delivery efficiency, strengthen healthcare system capacity, and improve the patient experience at CAR T treatment centers.

Projects should prioritize sustainable changes that optimize healthcare resource utilization. While projects may address a range of care delivery models, particular emphasis will be placed on initiatives that support outpatient care.

The BMS QII-CAR T is open to all not-for-profit health care organizations in Canada that are actively treating lymphoma patients with CAR T thereapy.    Healthcare professionals employed by or holding a position in a hospital, and actively involved in CAR T therapy are eligible to apply on behalf of their Institution. The list of eligible professionals includes, but is not limited to:

  • Physicians
  • Pharmacists
  • Nurses and all nursing-affiliated personnel
  • Allied health professionals
  • Other hospital-based professionals that participate in or who have an interest in improving the delivery of care to patients with lymphoma receiving CAR T therapy.

Projects requesting up to $50,000  will be considered.  Projects must have the potential to transfer knowledge and experience gained to other healthcare teams or hospitals.

Please refer to the Applicant Guide for additional details.

Applicants should download the QII-CAR T Application Form and return the completed form to QIICART@bms.com.   Proposals will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with a final submission deadline of Sept 30th, 2026.   BMS reserves the right to close the Request for Proposal earlier.
