Country to Country for Cancer (C2C4C)

C2C4C in Benelux

Every September, BMS employees from Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands take part in the Country 2 Country 4 Cancer bike tour. Over three days, the Benelux team covers more than 300 kilometers, cycling from the Bristol Myers Squibb office in Paris, France, to the office in Uxbridge, UK, via Calais. This averages around 110 kilometers per day, with more than 1,000 meters of elevation.

Between 2016 and 2025, the race supported organizations such as Foundation Against Cancer in Belgium and Stichting Merels Wereld, Stichting Villa Joep, and the Prinses Máxima Centrum Foundation in the Netherlands.

C2C4C worldwide

Every year, Bristol Myers Squibb employees around the world come together to demonstrate their commitment to cancer research. Through the C2C4C rides, Coast 2 Coast 4 Cancer in the United States, Country 2 Country 4 Cancer in Europe, and Continent 2 Continent 4 Cancer in Japan and Latin America, employees take part in a global fundraising effort in support of cancer researchBetween the launch of the initiative in 2014 and 2025, more than 19 million USD was donated worldwide to help advance cancer research.

C2C4C in Europe

Launched in Europe in 2016, the initiative brings together Bristol Myers Squibb employees from across the region to raise funds for cancer research and for European cancer organizations that are members of the UICC (Union for International Cancer Control).

In 2025, the 10th edition in Europe brought together 95 BMS employees from 19 countries in 6 relay teams for an 18-day cycling challenge across Europe, covering 2,200 kilometers. Between 2016 and 2025, this initiative has raised more than 3.7 million USD in Europe.

BMS for Community

In 2020, BMS colleagues around the world, their families and patients exercised, moved or volunteered for the BMS for Community initiative. Not only did we reach our goal of one million minutes of walking, running, biking but we also donated $1 million to the fight against COVID-19. We exceeded it twice over by moving 2,967,388 minutes.

Move for Minutes was organised again in 2021 by BMS for Community. A total of over 3.2 million minutes of exercise, sports and volunteering were registred, resulting in a $1 million donation to Special Olympics.
