Position Summary:
This position will be part of Sterile Product Development within the Drug Product Development organization located in New Brunswick, NJ. We are seeking a collaborative, self-motivated, and results oriented scientist/engineer with a passion for problem-solving to extend and enhance patient lives, with a focus on formulation and process development. The successful candidate excels in a collaborative, cross-functional, matrix team environment to enable the development of new drug products for pharmaceutics, biologics, and emerging modalities such as, but not limited to, antibody-drug conjugates, gene therapy, oligonucleotides, and SiRNA nanoparticulate delivery. The scientist/engineer will design and execute studies to develop patient centric parenteral dosage forms and their manufacturing processes to enable clinical and commercial use.
Responsibilities:
- Drive drug product development as a member/leader of multidisciplinary project teams in a matrix environment, striving towards objectives aligned with Drug Product Development goals.
- Proactively apply scientific or engineering expertise to develop solutions to complex technical, operational, and/or business problems which require ingenuity and creativity.
- Develop parenteral dosage forms for clinical and commercial use throughout various stages of development.
- Design and conduct experiments on new drug candidates and formulations to define biophysical and chemical properties using various analytical characterization tools.
- Conduct process development, optimization and scale-up studies; bring this knowledge to project teams to enable successful drug product technology transfer to clinical manufacturing and commercial sites.
- Generate data and knowledge for regulatory filings through planning and execution of experimental plans with minimal supervision, within project timelines.
- Integrate and interpret research data and present conclusions as appropriate at various project meetings.
- Issue periodic reports and ensure compliance to safety rules and regulations, experimental best practices, electronic laboratory notebook, and other expectations and trainings based on corporate and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate on appropriate portfolio and strategy initiative teams.
- Maintain awareness of advances in drug product development science and technologies to evaluate innovative opportunities to enhance productivity and efficiency of workflows.
Qualifications:
- Principal Scientist Level: Ph.D. with 5+ years of experience or MS with 6-9 years of experience with degree in Pharmaceutics, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering or related disciplines.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of principles (scientific, engineering and quality by design principles, business processes) related to pharmaceutical drug product development of injectable dosage forms.
- Experience with process development (lyophilized or ready-to-use presentations) and scale-up of injectable dosage forms to clinical or commercial manufacturing sites.
- Ability to problem solve using scientific or engineering, techniques to support drug product development from early development through product launch as a member of a multidisciplinary project team.
- Experience in experimental design and execution as well as independent interpretation of data, generated by a wide variety of analytical characterization techniques, available from experiments designed by self or others.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of protein/peptide chemistry, protein chemical and physical stability, folding, and structure-activity relationship.
- Understanding of pre-filled syringes, autoinjectors, and other devices options for use in patient-centric products.
- Hands-on experience with various biophysical and biochemical analytical tools used for characterization and development.
- Excellent team player with good interpersonal, written, verbal communication skills.
- Capable of leading formulation and/or drug product matrix teams and influencing across interfaces.
- Ability to guide/lead successful completion of programs or initiatives.
- Hands-on computer skills and knowledge of statistics.
- Ability to learn new techniques and apply these to address cross-functional development challenges.

Position Summary:
Reports to the Director, U.S. Oncology Communications, and serves as an integral member of the U.S. Hematology & Oncology Commercial Communications team. The Associate Director, U.S. Oncology Communications will support both brand and above brand messaging and the development of integrated internal and external communications plans and content for BMS’ solid tumor oncology portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic communications and issues management counsel to internal stakeholders, and development and execution of strategic communications plans for U.S. market.
- Lead communications for a high volume of U.S. regulatory milestones, in close coordination with the Worldwide Oncology Commercial Communications team.
- Support market-shaping activities including consumer outreach and disease awareness programs.
- Work in close coordination with Commercial business partners, Drug Development Communications, Worldwide Commercialization Communications, Corporate Communications, Policy and Patient Advocacy colleagues to ensure alignment and support of enterprise priorities.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will be passionate about helping patients prevail over serious diseases. S/he will be a self-motivated leader with a track record of setting, driving and delivering against integrated communications strategies aligned with broader company objectives. S/he must be able to collaborate with mid- and senior-level leaders in the organization and have demonstrated ability to successfully lead and influence others. This individual will have a strong grasp of storytelling that can engage and energize employees and key external audiences, while fully supporting the company’s business objectives.
- A Bachelor’s Degree required, ideally in Communications or related field.
- A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in brand or corporate communications, public relations agency or related field. A strategic communications background in healthcare (e.g. pharma, agency, non-profit, academic medical center) is strongly preferred.
- A strong commercial focus and business acumen, including a solid understanding of the U.S. healthcare market.
- Expertise in strategic planning, issues management, internal and external communications.
- Media relations experience preferred. Candidate may interact with select media and contribute to media relations strategy.
- Excellent strategic, conceptual thinking, interpersonal and writing skills (i.e., ability to rapidly produce clear, compelling, motivating communications).
- Strong project management skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities with a sense of urgency.
- Proficiency with web-based, digital communications and social media tools.
- Experience managing agency team and associated budgets.

Job Description
The MSL role embodies our medical mission to be recognized as the trusted partner for internal stakeholders and the healthcare community, driving scientific exchange to enhance medical education, data generation, insight generation and patients’ access to medicine.
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is responsible for identifying disease and product related medical needs in a defined geography. The primary role of the MSL is to develop and maintain relationships with Thought Leaders (TL) and Healthcare Providers (HCP) within their healthcare system. The purpose of their interactions is to engage in meaningful scientific exchange that will ensure patients have access to BMS medicines, to ensure their safe and appropriate use through peer to peer discussions aligned with medical strategies and needs expressed by external stakeholders, and to facilitate research. The MSL also serves as the medical resource for external stakeholders in the community.
External Environment and Customer Focus
Develop and maintain relationships with academic and community research thought leaders, appropriate HCPs, and access stakeholders, within a given geography to answer scientific, unsolicited product, and HEOR related questions. The MSL will use various channels for interactions (1:1, group presentations, remote, etc.)
Demonstrate proficiency in using available scientific resources and presentations. Effectively present information to TL/HCPs and be able to respond to questions, ensuring medical accuracy and compliance with local procedures, ethical and legal guidelines and directives.
Actively assess the medical landscape by meeting with TL/HCPs/Access Stakeholders to understand their needs and expertise. Continuously update own knowledge in treatment strategies, products, unmet medical needs, clinical trials, health economics outcomes research and scientific activities. Understand the competitive landscape and evolving healthcare models and actively prepare to address informational needs of customers
Identify opportunities to partner with HCPs on disease state initiatives, collaborative research projects, and investigator sponsored research (ISR) of interest and in alignment with BMS strategic objectives
Attend medical congresses and local/regional meetings. Collect and provide meaningful medical insights and/or impact by communicating these back to the medical and commercial organizations to support strategy development and business decisions
Contribute to the Medical Plan
Develop geography-specific Field Medical and TL Interaction plans based on therapeutic area objectives and TLs needs
Adopt institution/account planning approach and contribute to cross-functional
institution/account plansContribute to development and delivery of scientifically meaningful medical programs/projects in line with the local Medical and Field Medical plan
Provide Medical Support
Establish a customer-centric, compliant collaboration with cross-matrix field teams within assigned geography
As necessary and appropriate, support the initial and ongoing medical/scientific area and product specific training and provide key scientific updates to internal stakeholders (e.g. Commercial, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, Legal, HEOR, Value Access & Payment)
Provide scientific support at promotional meetings by presenting scientific and clinical data, by evaluating speakers and by giving support to BMS-contracted speakers (if applicable)
Participate in assigned Congress activities
Support Clinical Trial Activities
Support Interventional and Non Interventional Research (NIR) studies (e.g. identification and
assessment of potential study sites) to facilitate patient recruitment and/or discussions around the safe and effective use of BMS investigational products, as agreed with home office medical and Global Development Operations (GDO) and as defined by the study scope documentProvide recommendations and insights to clinical development team on study and site feasibilities within the therapeutic area based on knowledge of the field and through direct contacts with potential investigators, as agreed with home office medical and GDO
Support HCPs in the ISR submission and execution process and study follow-up as agreed upon with home office medical and GDO
Ensure that BMS Pharmacovigilance procedural documents are understood and applied by investigators of local studies, and alert appropriate BMS personnel to any identified Adverse Events
Actively support CRO sponsored studies as agreed with home office medical and GDO and as defined by the study scope document
Required Qualifications
Advanced degree in medical/biosciences (i.e., MD, PhD, PharmD, DPH, EdD, etc.) AND a minimum 3-5 years of MSL experience
Current MSL experience in psychiatry, mental health or schizophrenia with proven track record of establishing, maintaining, and enhancing effective and successful collegial relationships with external experts.
Knowledge Desired
Disease area knowledge and an understanding of scientific publications
Knowledge of a scientific or clinical area, competitive landscape and patient treatment trends
Knowledge of clinical trial design and process

The Cell Therapy Account Manager is an individual contributor role responsible for achieving commercial objectives for the launches in Cell Therapy through excellence in account planning, execution and collaboration with all stakeholders to provide a seamless and differentiated patient experience. The Cell Therapy Account Manager will serve as the main point of contact for the CAR T treatment sites and lead the development of the site-specific account plans coordinating the deployment of resources tailored to meet the customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
Responsible for assessing, cultivating and managing customer relationships across a broad set of stakeholders within assigned accounts to ensure achievement of commercial objectives for the launches in cellular therapy.
Responsible for the development of a customized site-specific account plan coordinating the deployment of resources to meet the customer needs and ensure a seamless and differentiated customer experience.
Serve as the main point of contact for designated accounts and collaborate with cross functional partners to create a streamlined, organized interface between account stakeholders and all field facing colleagues.
Navigate complex account environments and understand the needs/issues of account stakeholders at all levels and drive to solutions that address the needs.
Collaborate and communicate regularly with cross functional partners to support the referral of appropriate patients to the treatment centers.
Maintain and continuously develop both disease and product specific knowledge.
Actively gains customer insights and provides timely feedback to cross functional partners and Area Business Manager regarding account business trends, changes in the therapeutic landscape, performance, industry issues and business opportunities and risks.
Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of cell therapy activities.
This position requires the ability to drive within their assigned territory by automobile (and in some territories to travel by airplane).
Qualifications/Knowledge Required:
7+ years of sales experience, marketing, and/or commercial experience required with 5+ years in Hematology/Oncology
Key account management strategy – experience working in large, complex accounts, identifying influential stakeholders and working with them to better serve patients
Customer service oriented – quick responses, highly reliable, excellent follow up

The Director will be the clinical lead to progress early clinical assets from first-in-human through proof-of-concept and will prepare the clinical development plan, design clinical trials and lead the clinical development team. Experience in early clinical development of neurodegenerative and/or neuropsychiatric indications is a requirement. Job Description
The MSL role embodies our medical mission to be recognized as the trusted partner for internal stakeholders and the healthcare community, driving scientific exchange to enhance medical education, data generation, insight generation and patients’ access to medicine.
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is responsible for identifying disease and product related medical needs in a defined geography. The primary role of the MSL is to develop and maintain relationships with Thought Leaders (TL) and Healthcare Providers (HCP) within their healthcare system. The purpose of their interactions is to engage in meaningful scientific exchange that will ensure patients have access to BMS medicines, to ensure their safe and appropriate use through peer to peer discussions aligned with medical strategies and needs expressed by external stakeholders, and to facilitate research. The MSL also serves as the medical resource for external stakeholders in the community.
External Environment and Customer Focus
Develop and maintain relationships with academic and community research thought leaders, appropriate HCPs, and access stakeholders, within a given geography to answer scientific, unsolicited product, and HEOR related questions. The MSL will use various channels for interactions (1:1, group presentations, remote, etc.)
Demonstrate proficiency in using available scientific resources and presentations. Effectively present information to TL/HCPs and be able to respond to questions, ensuring medical accuracy and compliance with local procedures, ethical and legal guidelines and directives.
Actively assess the medical landscape by meeting with TL/HCPs/Access Stakeholders to understand their needs and expertise. Continuously update own knowledge in treatment strategies, products, unmet medical needs, clinical trials, health economics outcomes research and scientific activities. Understand the competitive landscape and evolving healthcare models and actively prepare to address informational needs of customers
Identify opportunities to partner with HCPs on disease state initiatives, collaborative research projects, and investigator sponsored research (ISR) of interest and in alignment with BMS strategic objectives
Attend medical congresses and local/regional meetings. Collect and provide meaningful medical insights and/or impact by communicating these back to the medical and commercial organizations to support strategy development and business decisions
Contribute to the Medical Plan
Develop geography-specific Field Medical and TL Interaction plans based on therapeutic area objectives and TLs needs
Adopt institution/account planning approach and contribute to cross-functional
institution/account plansContribute to development and delivery of scientifically meaningful medical programs/projects in line with the local Medical and Field Medical plan
Provide Medical Support
Establish a customer-centric, compliant collaboration with cross-matrix field teams within assigned geography
As necessary and appropriate, support the initial and ongoing medical/scientific area and product specific training and provide key scientific updates to internal stakeholders (e.g. Commercial, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, Legal, HEOR, Value Access & Payment)
Provide scientific support at promotional meetings by presenting scientific and clinical data, by evaluating speakers and by giving support to BMS-contracted speakers (if applicable)
Participate in assigned Congress activities
Support Clinical Trial Activities
Support Interventional and Non Interventional Research (NIR) studies (e.g. identification and
assessment of potential study sites) to facilitate patient recruitment and/or discussions around the safe and effective use of BMS investigational products, as agreed with home office medical and Global Development Operations (GDO) and as defined by the study scope documentProvide recommendations and insights to clinical development team on study and site feasibilities within the therapeutic area based on knowledge of the field and through direct contacts with potential investigators, as agreed with home office medical and GDO
Support HCPs in the ISR submission and execution process and study follow-up as agreed upon with home office medical and GDO
Ensure that BMS Pharmacovigilance procedural documents are understood and applied by investigators of local studies, and alert appropriate BMS personnel to any identified Adverse Events
Actively support CRO sponsored studies as agreed with home office medical and GDO and as defined by the study scope document
Required Qualifications
Advanced degree in medical/biosciences (i.e., MD, PhD, PharmD, DPH, EdD, etc.) AND a minimum 3-5 years of MSL experience
Current MSL experience in psychiatry, mental health or schizophrenia with proven track record of establishing, maintaining, and enhancing effective and successful collegial relationships with external experts.
Knowledge Desired
Disease area knowledge and an understanding of scientific publications
Knowledge of a scientific or clinical area, competitive landscape and patient treatment trends

Job Description
The MSL role embodies our medical mission to be recognized as the trusted partner for internal stakeholders and the healthcare community, driving scientific exchange to enhance medical education, data generation, insight generation and patients’ access to medicine.
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is responsible for identifying disease and product related medical needs in a defined geography. The primary role of the MSL is to develop and maintain relationships with Thought Leaders (TL) and Healthcare Providers (HCP) within their healthcare system. The purpose of their interactions is to engage in meaningful scientific exchange that will ensure patients have access to BMS medicines, to ensure their safe and appropriate use through peer to peer discussions aligned with medical strategies and needs expressed by external stakeholders, and to facilitate research. The MSL also serves as the medical resource for external stakeholders in the community.
External Environment and Customer Focus
Develop and maintain relationships with academic and community research thought leaders, appropriate HCPs, and access stakeholders, within a given geography to answer scientific, unsolicited product, and HEOR related questions. The MSL will use various channels for interactions (1:1, group presentations, remote, etc.)
Demonstrate proficiency in using available scientific resources and presentations. Effectively present information to TL/HCPs and be able to respond to questions, ensuring medical accuracy and compliance with local procedures, ethical and legal guidelines and directives.
Actively assess the medical landscape by meeting with TL/HCPs/Access Stakeholders to understand their needs and expertise. Continuously update own knowledge in treatment strategies, products, unmet medical needs, clinical trials, health economics outcomes research and scientific activities. Understand the competitive landscape and evolving healthcare models and actively prepare to address informational needs of customers
Identify opportunities to partner with HCPs on disease state initiatives, collaborative research projects, and investigator sponsored research (ISR) of interest and in alignment with BMS strategic objectives
Attend medical congresses and local/regional meetings. Collect and provide meaningful medical insights and/or impact by communicating these back to the medical and commercial organizations to support strategy development and business decisions
Contribute to the Medical Plan
Develop geography-specific Field Medical and TL Interaction plans based on therapeutic area objectives and TLs needs
Adopt institution/account planning approach and contribute to cross-functional

Provide Medical Support
Establish a customer-centric, compliant collaboration with cross-matrix field teams within assigned geography
As necessary and appropriate, support the initial and ongoing medical/scientific area and product specific training and provide key scientific updates to internal stakeholders (e.g. Commercial, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, Legal, HEOR, Value Access & Payment)
Provide scientific support at promotional meetings by presenting scientific and clinical data, by evaluating speakers and by giving support to BMS-contracted speakers (if applicable)
Participate in assigned Congress activities
Support Clinical Trial Activities
Support Interventional and Non Interventional Research (NIR) studies (e.g. identification and
assessment of potential study sites) to facilitate patient recruitment and/or discussions around the safe and effective use of BMS investigational products, as agreed with home office medical and Global Development Operations (GDO) and as defined by the study scope documentProvide recommendations and insights to clinical development team on study and site feasibilities within the therapeutic area based on knowledge of the field and through direct contacts with potential investigators, as agreed with home office medical and GDO
Support HCPs in the ISR submission and execution process and study follow-up as agreed upon with home office medical and GDO
Ensure that BMS Pharmacovigilance procedural documents are understood and applied by investigators of local studies, and alert appropriate BMS personnel to any identified Adverse Events
Actively support CRO sponsored studies as agreed with home office medical and GDO and as defined by the study scope document
Required Qualifications
Advanced degree in medical/biosciences (i.e., MD, PhD, PharmD, DPH, EdD, etc.) AND a minimum 3-5 years of MSL experience
Current MSL experience in psychiatry, mental health or schizophrenia with proven track record of establishing, maintaining, and enhancing effective and successful collegial relationships with external experts.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Financial Control
- Influence and drive financially sound decisions through the creation of robust analysis.
- Oversee and perform accounting activities for Summit Internal Manufacturing site. Review and approve the monthly operating results for accuracy, proper accounting treatment and compliance with internal and external control requirements.
- Report operating results and provide analysis of key performance drivers to leadership.
- Provide financial support for capital appropriation requests (CAR) submissions.
- Provide follow-up to requests from internal and external auditors.
- Preparation of month-end reporting package and analysis as well as reporting of key variance drivers to local operations management.
- Regular engagement with management in key business processes and functions to proactively identify and mitigate financial, operational risk.
- Sustains a strong Internal Controls framework, including maintaining policies and work instructions, imparting trainings, responding to day-to-day inquiries from process owners and escalating issues to key leadership within Cell Therapy Operations.
- Analyze conversion costs including material and overhead and assist in tracking of period cost expenses against targets and forecasts.
- Provide monthly review and reporting of Capital projects to ensure alignment with current budgets.
Business Planning (Strategic Plan, Budget, Latest Forecast, and Latest Outlook) and Analysis
- Prepare financial plans and latest forecasts for Summit Internal Manufacturing site including inventory.
- Develop the calculation of the annual standard product costs for Summit Internal Manufacturing site.
- Advise business partners on strategic projects and investment decisions.
Other Responsibilities
- Support clear and proactive communication within CTO and GPS.
- Provide financial insights to management and employee audiences that increase their knowledge of the business and enhances their decision-making capability.
- Satisfy internal and external audit requests as necessary.
- Participate in ERP integration and implementation projects.
Qualifications & Experiences
- BA or BS in Finance / Accounting. MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred.
- Eight + years of Finance/Accounting experience with a minimum of five years of industry experience.
- Sustains a strong Internal Controls framework, including maintaining policies and work instructions, imparting trainings, responding to day-to-day inquiries from process owners and escalating issues to key leadership within Cell Therapy Operation and Business Controls.
- Regular engagement with management in key business processes and functions to proactively identify and mitigate financial, operational and fraud risk.
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to understand the bigger picture (i.e. impacts across the business, etc.).

Position Summary
The TAS is a critical role in our unique customer model to execute the BMS aspiration to be the BioPharma that delivers the most impactful engagement with Health Care Providers (HCPs), driving adoption of new and existing medicines for appropriate patients.
The primary role of the TAS is to drive demand for BMS medicines within their portfolio for the appropriate patients. To meet the HCPs expectations, the TAS engages them with a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper scientific dialogue on and consistent with label, leveraging new ways of working and CE^3.
The role builds and maintains strong professional credibility with regional thought leaders (RTLs) and community-based physicians/HCPs in private practice, medical groups practices, office staff, and other stakeholders in the patient care continuum as their primary point of contact.
The TAS liaises with other BMS functions as needed to deliver an overall higher Customer Experience (Cx) – by meeting HCP needs in a timely and scientific manner. This role will prioritize the safe and appropriate use of BMS products while also focusing on overall business results and performance objectives while exemplifying BMS values.

- Portfolio Promotion
- Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory or region to meet or exceed assigned sales targets in a compliant manner.
- Creates demand for BMS medicines by articulating in a balanced manner the clinical and scientific rationale for use of products in appropriate patients.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or preferred 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience as healthcare sales / MSL / HCP / nurse.

On-site Protocol
BMS has a diverse occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work.
